ELINA DONALDSON - Founder & Principal Designer

Elina is passionate about helping busy families and professionals create effortlessly stylish, functional homes that feel cozy, warm, inviting, and uniquely theirs. Her love for design runs deep - rooted in layered natural materials, clean lines, and the kind of thoughtful details that make a home feel both unique and timeless.

Raised in a small town in the north of Sweden, Elina has called Annapolis, MD home since 2013. As a child, she spent much time outdoors and developed a love for nature, togetherness and storytelling - values that continue to shape her design philosophy. Since 2013, she has called Annapolis, MD home, blending my Scandinavian roots with East Coast charm. Before launching SIMPLICITY by elina, she worked in engineering, logistics and product development - experiences that taught the importance of both creativity and precision. Elina brings that same thoughtful, organized approach to every design project I lead.

Elina truly believe our surroundings impact how we feel every single day. That’s why she focus on creating homes that feel cozy, grounded and uniquely you - spaces that balance function with calm, and personality with timelessness.
